When Transporting Them

Caging these cats should only be a temporary measure; once they get acquainted with their new environment, you should release them and let them interact with other pets and humans.

New Environments

Mature cats and kittens need a proper introduction to new environments. If you don’t follow the right procedure, they may vanish.

When you acquire kittens from friends, breeders or relatives, make sure you cage them for a few days until they get used to the new environment.

They need time to get acquitted to new smell, sounds, and surroundings.

When Breeding

Some female cats can have real difficulties when breeding. They may BE too aggressive for the males, or they may be hard to get.

In such cases, the only remedy would be to cage them with a suitable male for breeding to take place. The cage should have adequate space to accommodate both cats; you should not place any food, litter box, or water in the cage.

Once you discover the breeding process has taken place, it’s time to release the cat to proceed with their normal life.
